Sim (simulated) racing is the collective term for computer software that attempts to accurately simulate auto racing, complete with real-world variables such as fuel usage, damage, tire wear and grip, and suspension settings. To be competitive in sim racing, a driver must understand all aspects of car handling that make real-world racing so difficult, such as threshold braking, how to maintain control of a car as the tires lose traction, and how properly to enter and exit a turn without sacrificing speed. It is this level of difficulty that distinguishes sim racing from “arcade” driving games where real-world variables are taken out of the equation and the principal objective is to create a sense of speed as opposed to a sense of realism.

The ability to faithfully reproduce the emotions experienced on a real track, have passionate about this type of electronic sport thousands of people and video players, as well as fans of sports such as Formula 1 or rally. The use of equipment such as steering wheels and pedals or, for the most passionate, of simulators, has increased the level of competitiveness giving an absolutely realistic immersive experience. Especially in recent times, due to the lockdown, many sports have stopped. One of them has been racing. But thanks to virtual competitions, fans have been able to follow the races on TV and even those who were far from the world of esports, have come closer, understanding the value of digital entertainment.

In this scenario Goskilla didn’t stand still and watch. For a long time, in fact, it was in the company’s programs to create a racing branch.

Today we can finally announce the birth of the Goskilla Racing Academy (GRA).

A professional working environment that will use some of the best Italian coaches and that will allow Goskilla drivers to train on the latest generation professional simulators thanks to the partnership with the

Brand Car.Man Simulators.

Together, every day we will work to improve the drivers skills and we will take part in the most important Italian and international competitions for Rfactor2Assetto CorsaAssetto Corsa Competizione.

Goskilla is therefore pleased to announce

Mattia “ilTia” Carro as first official driver.

Welcome!

Our goal is to become protagonists in the world of virtual racing, both in Italy and abroad.

This new challenge will also represent a new great opportunity for all Goskilla partners.
